Greetings and a very warm welcome to the International College of NIDA. As the new dean, it is an honor for me to welcome you to the international college of NIDA. Throughout the last couple of years, we have been battling the unknown of the coronavirus disease. This coronavirus disease disrupted our normal way of life and our society. Nevertheless, it also brought out the best in everybody. The advancement of technology and the ‘new normal’ way of living are just a few examples that show our strength in getting through this disruption. Education and knowledge will continue to be the most significant ingredients which will help us to excel and move towards a better future. This is the reason why the International College of NIDA revised our plan for a better outlook. We need to ensure that we can continue to provide quality education for our local and international students. The combination of the international learning environment and the benefits of communication and information technology will be the highlight of our new era. From August 2022, NIDA requires all study programs to follow the regulation on onsite teaching and the classes to be offered on campus. However, we do understand that some of our international students may find it difficult to travel from their hometowns due to some travel restrictions. This is why we will continue to offer the hybrid channel for all of our classes from August to December 2022. Some of our students with only valid reasons will be allowed to undertake classes online, while the rest of the students are encouraged to come to NIDA in Bangkok to enjoy our excellent facilities. We need to keep our optimistic view and I know for sure that we will continue to be stronger and better adapted to this new world.
