Dr. Tan holds a PhD from Southern Cross University in Australia, a Master of Advanced Business Practices from the University of South Australia, and a Bachelor of Science and Master of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, USA. Dr. Tan is the foreign secretary of FATER academy of India, with members from esteemed professors around the globe, also in many editorial boards of international journals. Dr Tan held positions as vice president at Seafresh Company Limited (a publicly listed firm in Thailand), director and principal at FRIS Institute of Robotics, Malaysia, and group technical manager at Hong Leong Group Malaysia, one of the country’s largest conglomerates. Dr Tan was appointed an adjunct professor for the Ph.D. program in business administration at Asia eUniversity, Malaysia. Dr Tan has more than 330 peer-reviewed publications, including Elsevier and Emerald, and more than 100 keynotes worldwide. Current research specialization includes strategic management, business ethics and CSR, AI in management, operations management, consumer behaviors and branding, organization behaviors and change management, organizational learning, Buddhist approaches in management, sustainability, competitiveness, tourism and hospitality.
